In Varna a Bulgarian-Ukrainian Business Forum was held and the Representative of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bulgaria was opened

On the 23rd March 2006 in Varna, a Business Forum dedicated to the development of trade and economic cooperation between Bulgaria and Ukraine was held.

Among the participants of the Forum were: Plamen Prodanov – the representative of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bulgaria (UCCI), Oleg Baranovski – the General Consul of Ukaine in Varna, Ivan Tabakov –  the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Varna, Viktor Yanovsky – The First vice-president of UCCI, Alexander Guriev – the Adviser of the President of UCCI, Vasili Liahovich – the President of Chernovitska CCI, Anatolii Doroftei – a Representative of Chernovitska CCI in Suchava (Romania), Anatoli Denisenko – the Vice-president of Odessa CCI, representatives of Bulgarian and Ukrainian companies working in different sectors of economy – trade, tourism, services, transport, industry, etc. On the forum, different topics were discussed: establishment of joint Bulgarian-Ukrainian ventures as well as financial institutes in Bulgaria. The last would guarantee a successful cooperation between Bulgarian and Ukrainian partners.

After the Forum a Representation of the UCCI in Bulgaria was opened. It is situated on the 6, Petko Karavelov str. in Varna. The Plenipotentiary and Full Representative of the UCCI in Bulgaria is Mr. Plamen Prodanov  – the Chairman of the Bulgarian-Ukrainian Economic Chamber and the Director of the famous company Cosmos Shipping JSC.
